Training of Hospital and Health Centre Staff in Uganda - Water Supply & Sanitation
Project description: Day to day operation of rural hospitals and health centres in Uganda is hampered by insufficient water supply and sanitary infrastructure. But not only this lack of technical infrastructure is a cause for the actual problems but also and in some cases even more the lack of well trained personal. Training courses are held for the management and staff responsible for water supply and sanitation. The programmes of the courses (semi-annual workshops and exchange meetings) address individual problems of the participants. Furthermore training materials are developed covering issues which are prioritised by the participants and for which no suitable materials are available.
